According to K'NEX Brands president and CEO, Michael Araten,  moving manufacturing jobs back to the US makes good business sense and is the right thing to do.  During a recent panel discussion that focused on American Manufacturing, Mr. Araten pointed out that sales for K'NEX Brands have steadily improved since repatriating jobs back to US and increasing the workforce by 25%.

The panel discussion, moderated by Brian Taff, an Anchorman for the local 6ABC News affiliate, highlighted the successes of four local manufacturers who decided to move production back to the Philadelphia area.

The event entitled, State of the Region: Made in America, was sponsored by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.  David Muir,  “ABC World News” weekend anchor and correspondent for the “Made in America” special reports was also on hand to discuss the resurgence in American Manufacturing.
