Our facility comprises over 125,000 square feet and contains over 105 state-of-the-art plastic injection molding presses that run 24 hours a day. Highly automated and heavily robotic, they are overseen by an expert, dedicated staff of professionals to ensure state-of-the-art performance. Each press is microprocessor-controlled and self-diagnostic, with capacities from fractional to 43 ounces, and clamping force from 46 to 400 tons. Quality control checks of product tolerances, color and physical appearance are made at every step of manufacturing. Materials Molded Rodon runs an array of engineering as well as community resins. Some of the resins commonly run at Rodon are as follows. Many of our resins are purchased in rail car quantities and are stored in one of our six silos.
Just In Time Rodon will stock and monitor pre-determined quantities of your products to ensure just in time delivery of your plastic injection molded components. Project Management Rodon will design, tool and manufacture your plastic injection molded components for just in time delivery. Additional services include coordinating custom stacking, bagging and labeling with any necessary outside sources. Custom Packaging Rodon can custom stack, bag or package your plastic injection molded components as specified. Custom Quality Specifications Rodon will adhere to any pre-determined quality control standards specified by the customer. Examples include SPC charting and documentation, tensile strength testing and custom color monitoring. ISO 9001-2008 Certification The Rodon Group is a British standards BSI registered firm. ISO Certification ensures that our products are manufactured under rigid controls and guidelines that guarantee lot to lot integrity and consistency. Training All Rodon quality control personnel are required to pursue continuing education in quality related instruction. Types of additional quality training include American Society of Quality seminars, Certified Mechanical Inspection, ISO Training, SPC and Design for manufacturing courses. Rodon has 3 shifts of quality control personnel around the clock. Test and Diagnostic Equipment Rodon has a full compliment of quality control testing and diagnostic equipment.
